  • Curb-cut rain garden with native plants at the street
  • Front yard lawn undergoing slow conversion to pollinator plants
  • Tiny food forest in backyard with both native and non-native plants for edibles
  • Larger woody species underplanted with native woodland perennials

Small urban lot with rain garden installed by plaster creek stewards. In the process of adding more native plants to the front yard to replace the lawn. Back yard has been planted with native spring ephemerals and some native fruit trees. Also developing bonsai with native trees and some non-native trees. The yard is at its best in early spring and late summer. But any time during the growing season is fine.
