The Grandville Environmental Sustainability Committee (ESC) aims to raise the level of public understanding of environmental sustainability issues and challenges in the City of Grandville, as well as best practices found in similar communities. Focus areas for the ESC include air quality, water quality, resource protection, invasive species, waste reduction, composting and energy efficiency. Based upon these efforts, the Committee will offer recommendations to the City Council and these recommendations will assist with final decision-making on initiatives, policies and projects which are of a “Green” nature.
